A hilarious book about a dog - allegedly written
by a cat, in an extraordinary diary
Most Memorable Moment
The highlight of her stalk-abouts so far, she claims, has nevertheless been her disguised
encounter with British star of stage and screen, Joanna Lumley, at one of the Supreme
Cat Shows – unbeknown to Ms Lumley.
Recounts the author, “I was going walkabout in the costume doing my best to stalk
convincingly past some posh Semi Long Hairs and Persians when the actress quite unexpectedly
loomed up in front of me.
“Before I could twitch a whisker, she had given me a pat and purred in my ear, ‘NIIIIICE
pussycat!, in that distinctively throaty voice of hers.
“I’m still convinced she thought I was a Tom!”
